Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Fork Lift Operator to join our team in Midland Texas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Retrieving supplies and materials locating and verifying tools and materials; move material to assigned location safely.
- Load and unload outgoing and incoming jobs.
- Clearing production area by securing and moving finished tools and pallets.
- Assist in daily weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Clean and service forklifts.
- Follow established safety policies and procedures.
- On a rotation basis will be required to be on call when scheduled.
- Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
Knowledge/Skills/abilities
- Knowledge of how equipment is organized to ensure proper storage and shipping.
- Skilled in operating equipment capable of carrying heavy and wide loads.
- Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.
