School Manager

• Based at our Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus or Melbourne Burwood Campus
• Full-time and fixed term until February 2027
• HEW 9 $138102 - $% Superannuation
• This opportunity is open to all current continuing fixed-term and casual Deakin staff members only.

As a School Manager School of Engineering you will:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team fostering collaboration professional growth and a positive work culture.
• Drive the Schools strategic and operational priorities including planning governance and implementation of key initiatives.
• Oversee financial and human resource management including budgeting workforce planning and recruitment activities.
• Contribute to academic and business development including course planning marketing initiatives and external partnership engagement.
• Ensure compliance and risk management including WHS obligations policy implementation and oversight of infrastructure projects.

To be successful youll have:

• Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
• Extensive experience and management expertise; or
• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Experience managing and leading a team to successful outcomes.
• Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures policies and procedures.
