Job Summary
Job Description
We are looking for a professional person to join our On-Site Support Team. The On-Site Technician staff are deployed to customer locations for in-person support and provide back-end remote support as well. Youll be able to provide equipment installation end-user support network infrastructure installation network programming along with other IT projects.
Youll immediately begin working on:
- Coordination withISPs and other PCS team members for router programming and deployment
- Network infrastructure upgrades at a variety of customer locations.
- Deployment and installation of new end-user equipment.
- Ensuring that end-users concerns are listened to are promptly addressed and their IT problems are effectively resolved.
There are a few requirements for the job that must be met. The selected candidate:
- Must have a degree in an Information Technology-related discipline at an accredited technical school or college or equivalent work experience.
- General technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS for troubleshooting processes.
- Must be able to demonstrate IT problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate VLAN Programming on network equipment.
- Must be able to effectively concentrate while handling multiple tasks when priorities shift.
- Must have experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
- Must be comfortable working at heights using ladders and lift equipment.
