Job Summary
Math Teacher Upper Division
(New York New York) Teach mathematical curriculum to upper division students through two Integrated Math pathways: problem-based math pedagogy and curriculum and teacher-led instruction and deliberate skill practice. Establish classroom environment that facilitates student-centered discussion and allows students to share ideas present solutions reflect on mistakes and master math concepts through problem-solving. Facilitate discourse and guide students to deeper understanding of math. Adapt math curriculum for individual small group and remedial instruction. Prepare administer and grade assignments and examinations. Participate in academic advising and promote curriculum development. Upper Division includes grades 6-12. Salary: $84000 to $89000 annually.
Minimum of Bachelors degree in Mathematics Economics Data Science or related field plus one academic year of experience as Math Teacher teaching math courses to high school or upper-level students required.
