Pharmacist Brooklyn NYQUICK OFFER ROLE
Location:Brooklyn NY 11235
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Shift: 7.5 hours/day 5 days/week
Pay: $4200 weekly (gross)

Position summary
Seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support inpatient and sterile compounding services at a busy Brooklyn hospital. The pharmacist will perform medication dispensing sterile/IV admixture and participate in multidisciplinary patient care while ensuring adherence to state and facility pharmacy policies and standards.
Key responsibilities
Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriber orders and policies.
Perform sterile compounding and work in the IV room following USP/ facility aseptic techniques and protocols.
Operate pharmacy dispensing systems and maintain accurate dispensing records.
Verify medication orders perform prospective order review and identify/resolve drug-related problems.
Document interventions and medication administration in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in medication reconciliation and patient counseling as appropriate.
Maintain inventory control including controlled substance handling and record keeping.
Ensure compliance with NYSED AHA and facility regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other clinical staff to optimize medication therapy.
Support quality improvement medication safety initiatives and pharmacy operational tasks as needed.
Required education & experience
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or higher.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Pharmacist (hospital/inpatient experience preferred).
Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems.
Sterile processing and IV room experience required.
Experience with an EMR is preferred.
