The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing patient -centered care in a multidisciplinary practice setting with pharmacists nurses physicians and other personnel.

Services provided include (but are not limited to):

Assessing patient therapy for appropriateness incorporating age specific modifications and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events.
They will also conduct clinical research and other professional development programs.
Provides oversight and participates in maintaining and storing adequate inventory of all medication required for the practice.
Develop and update department and nursing policies.

8hrs non-billable orientation
Holiday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%

Requirement description :

5years extensive acute care clinical experience required
Doctoral of Pharmacy (Pharm D) required
Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology is STRONGLY preferred.
Board Certification Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) Certification is required is STRONGLY preferred
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently without direct supervision within established policy.
Applicant must be capable of supervising the work of support personnel.
Specialty Pharmacy medication management
Retail experience required
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Travelers perm address must be included in profile
Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
