Job Summary
The department is responsible for the core network (IP core transport/WDM and timing/synchronization) within the technology. From planning and development to the operation of the core network we are responsible end-to-end providing core network functions and capacities at the highest quality level both nationally and internationally.
In the transport network of Deutsche Telekom Technik we are currently experiencing an exciting technological and process transformation. This opens up unprecedented potential for automation directly benefiting our customers. We work in an agile manner within modern teams and we are looking for fresh and ambitious colleagues (m/f/d) with a clear vision of the future where technology doesnt serve us but rather we serve the technology.
- Continued/development of specific software for products and services throughout the entire development process in the area of responsibility. This involves the development of various new functionalities in different subsystems and services.
- Clarification of requirements in the area of responsibility and adaptation of the software for specific products and services.
- Carrying out the necessary programming work (coding).
- Installation configuration and administration of the software for specific products and services.
- Creation and maintenance of software documentation in the area of responsibility.
- Supporting the lifecycle management of the developed software for products and services by proactively contributing own ideas and improvement suggestions.
- Participation in the design of test automation and conducting tests.
Qualifications :
Hardskills:
- Expertise in the field of programming with Python
- Proficiency in API interfaces (Rest & gRPC)
- Knowledge in the area of container virtualization
- Proficiency in Kubernetes & Docker
- Proficiency in CI/CD (git)
- Experience in agile development methods
- Camunda knowledge is desirable but not a prerequisite
Softskills:
- Independent work style
- Goal-oriented work style
Languages:
- English Communicative with fluent technical vocabulary
- German Nice to have
