Job Summary
CyberArk is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Secrets Hub group and be part of a new R&D team based in Bulgaria working closely with HQ in Israel.
Secrets Hub is a cloud-native multi-cloud SaaS product that helps organizations centralize secrets management across AWS Azure GCP and HashiCorp Vault. It is used by some of the worlds largest enterprises to secure critical workloads in modern DevOps environments.
As a Software Engineer you will design build and enhance backend services that power the Secrets Hub platform. Youll work in a modern AWS serverless environment and collaborate closely with peers across Bulgaria and Israel. This role is hands-on and focused on feature delivery quality and learning rather than architectural leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design develop test and maintain scalable and secure backend services as part of the Secrets Hub platform.
- Work with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda Step Functions DynamoDB SQS etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK).
- Write clean maintainable Python code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers architects and engineers in Bulgaria and Israel to deliver customer value.
- Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines observability and testing frameworks.
- Participate in troubleshooting production issues and reliability improvements.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field (or elite military tech unit alumni).
- 3 years of hands-on software development experience including experience building production-grade systems in Python (or a similar modern language).
- Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals data structures and system design.
- Familiarity with microservices APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in English.
- Passion for writing high-quality maintainable code and learning new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud platforms preferably AWS.
- Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant applications.
- Familiarity with AWS serverless ecosystem (Lambda DynamoDB Step Functions SQS).
- Frontend experience (React TypeScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of secrets management security or identity domains.
- Experience working in distributed teams across locations.
