Position Description: KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the design and release of Pick up box/ hood/ Fender sheet metal systems. - Develop CAD model for sheet metal systems using 3DEX/ CATIA software. - Work with cross functional team to deliver cost tooling and weight objectives. - Work with Studio Manufacturing CAE suppliers and interface systems Design engineers to incorporate design requirements and ensure design feasibility. - Support Current and Forward model quality - Root cause analysis Boundary Diagram DFMEA SCCAF etc. - Lead engineering processes like BOM sign off FMEA and quality control plans CAD-loop with studio surface release design reviews with suppliers manufacturing and plant teams review quotes with Finance Purchasing investigate design optimization with CAE. - Participate in team meetings and present system status highlight risks and opportunities on the vehicle program and gateway checklists to Body exterior management at Australia and core team in North America. - Support proto build Design validation and launch activities on-site at & Manufacturing plants globally.

Qualifications :
Experience Required:
8 years of experience in an automotive product development environment. - Extensive experience with Teamcenter14 VisMockup Catia V5 and 3Dx MS Office. - Detailed knowledge of the product development process from design development validation and industrialization
