As an Electrical Engineer for Operations you will oversee all electrical systems and operations of our plant. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our plant by implementing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our electrical systems. Collaborating with other departments you will identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Your ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering will be essential in driving continuous improvement.
- Troubleshooting power issues supervising expansion and alteration work.
- Modify existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency safety reliability capacity and cost effectiveness.
- Monitoring switchgear performance overseeing and testing of IT infrastructure.
- Managing lighting protection systems and ensuring the general lighting and power network of the plant is functioning properly.
- Lead initiatives to reduce electrical power consumption manage systems and uninterruptible power supplies.
- Coordinate yearly infrared electrical inspections and perform power studies with a focus on selectivity arc flash coordination short circuit calculations and cable schedules.
- Providing technical guidance and support to other engineers and technicians you will address the electrical needs and concerns of stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in education and relevant work experience required.
- Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong ability to read understand and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- You should have proven experience in electrical engineering for operations preferably in a plant or industrial setting.
- Your strong knowledge of electrical systems switchgears lighting power networks and emergency power systems will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant.
- Familiarity with uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) and infrared electrical inspections is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design operation and troubleshooting HVAC water treatment control systems or chemical systems.
- 480 and/or 208-volt power distribution experience.
- Experience with 4160 and 12000 voltages.
- Control systems troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in power systems studies including selectivity arc flash coordination short circuit calculations and cable schedules will set you apart.
- Work experience in a clean room desired.
Additional Information :
This role will work on site in Roseville CA.
This position works Monday- Friday overtime and on call when necessary.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100000- $130000. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
