Associate (Strategic Advisory)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate to join our dynamic team in Phoenix Arizona providing financial analysis and support across a wide range of projects and industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks ranging from low-to-mid-level responsibilities to higher-level strategic initiatives within our practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding or quick ability to grasp our work with a background in accounting finance or similar environments. Up to 40% of the role could involve travel. This position is based in Phoenix Arizona and would require in-office work. After 6 months a hybrid schedule could be offered. 

• Support the reporting manager in project management and financial analysis across a wide range of projects and industries.
• Execute and review detailed financial modeling build and analyze cash flow forecasts perform in-depth accounting and analysis and conduct comprehensive financial statement reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of assessments and reporting.
• Conduct industry research and contribute to client engagements with due diligence.
• Collaborate effectively within project teams and interact with senior-level client personnel.
• Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain credibility in all interactions.

Qualifications :

The desired candidate will possess the following professional abilities and work experience

• At least two years of experience in Audit Advisory Big 4 Accounting Banking Finance and/or financial consulting. 
• A degree in Business Economics Finance or Accounting is preferred. 
• Deep understanding of financial modeling Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Highly organized dynamic and possesses the ability to pivot and shift focus without losing deadlines or priorities.
• A willingness to travel up to 40% as required by client service needs.
• Experience in corporate finance banking consulting or accounting preferred
• CPA or on track to acquire CPA is preferred.
• Should be motivated demonstrate a high degree of energy and be a self-starter; someone who is enthusiastic proactive and takes initiative to get the job done.
• Must have the ability to multitask often in a time-pressured urgent environment.
• Excellent financial analytical and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills and proven capabilities to support project teams.
• Ability to work both independently as well as on a dynamic and cross-functional team.

• Must be flexible to work outside of the 8:30 am 5:30 pm business hours if needed
• Must be flexible to travel

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $60000- $90000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset experience training location scope of role management responsibility etc.
