As a key member of our kitchen staff you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to the development of our menu offerings.
- Assist in the creation and execution of menu items for breakfast lunch dinner and special events
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new and innovative culinary concepts
- Manage food inventory and storage in coordination with the Head Chef
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP regulations
- Contribute to cost control efforts and process optimization in the kitchen
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in menu planning and food presentation for banquets and special events
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss menu improvements and operational efficiency
Qualifications :
- Completed culinary education or equivalent professional training
- Strong knowledge of various culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated creativity in menu design and interest in innovative culinary concepts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Proficiency in food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP regulations
- Experience in inventory management and cost control (preferred)
- Leadership experience or potential to guide junior kitchen staff
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
