We are seeking a hands-on Sales Trainer to deliver high-impact training programs on HID Globals PACS technologies. This role will focus on educating our partners and customers on HIDs Complex Solutions including Mobile Access Mercury controllers and other technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales education in a technical environment. They should be comfortable with hardware and software environments and skilled at translating complex concepts into engaging learning experiences.

As our Technical Sales Trainer youll support HIDs successby:

  • Creating and facilitating engaging training sessions in-person virtually and through blended formats with a focus on complex HID and Mercury solutions.
  • Providing sales focused training with technical expertise in access control products.
  • Collaborating with sales leadership to assess needs and implement tailored training strategies.
  • Tracking and evaluating training effectiveness using KPIs performance metrics and feedback.
  • Customizing content for different audiences including sales personnel at distributors and integrators as well as onboarding end-users.
  • Continuously enhancing training content by staying informed on industry trends and adult learning best practices.
  • Creating and maintaining training materials including presentations manuals and e-learning modules.
  • Collaborating with product teams to ensure training content reflects the latest product updates and best practices.
  • Supporting HID Academy certification programs and track learner progress.
  • Evaluating training effectiveness and continuously improve delivery methods.
  • Partnering with Sales Engineering Technical Support and Product Management to align training with business goals.
  • Participating in onboarding programs for new hires and partners.

YourExperienceand Background include:

  • 3 years of experience in sales training preferably in physical access control or a technical industry.
  • Strong understanding of HID PACS ecosystem including Mobile Access Mercury controllers and OSDP.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time with periodic international travel.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

The base salary in the United States is $120000 to $165000.
