Location: New Orleans LA
Summary
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator is an administrative position providing the day-to-day support for the Office of the Associate Vice President for Major Gifts the Major Gifts Regional fundraising unit and the Family Leadership Council. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to frontline officers for advancement-related activities meeting and travel scheduling expense reporting and event support. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator works closely with other departments within Advancement including other Major Gifts teams Gift Planning Stewardship Corporate & Foundation Relations Alumni Relations Advancement Communications and other departments throughout the university.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong oral written and interpersonal skills required.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple demands and multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word PowerPoint Excel Access)
Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and keep projects on task meeting and exceeding timeline expectations.
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
Required Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma and 3-years related/transferable experience
Any appropriate combination of relevant education experience and/or certification may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of university fundraising.
