Under the direction of the Director Nursing Administration proactively coordinates patient care activities and ensures the nursing process is carried out on all shifts (24/7) by demonstrating professional and clinical leadership. Promotes and maintains quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the the absence of regular nursing and unit leadership is responsible for the coordination of patient care in the facility as well as exercises authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator On Call
Qualifications :
Current license as an RN in good standing from Maryland or other compact state. Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) Basic knowledge and working experience with Medical Terminology
Completed Course Work/Program: Associate degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN)
Required: 3 - 5 years Experience. Management - preferred. Preceptor role - preferred. Charge nurse - required.
