  • Southland Hospital Part time 0.8 FTE 32 hours a week
  • Salary Between $72035 - $75050 p.a prorata

About the Role

The friendly District Nursing Team are looking for an experienced Administration Officer to join the team. This role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the District Nursing service by providing efficient and timely administration support that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation.

As a pivotal member of our team you will be a quick thinker who will be able to deliver effective confidential and professional support to our staff providing robust secretarial clerical and reception services.

Responsibilities will be varied and cover reception and office administration duties including but not limited to; liaising with consumers and whanau data entry and maintenance; keeping records and files up to date coordinate meetings and clinics coordinating office operations transcriptions appointment booking and typing.

About you

You will have a high level of computer competency organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and initiative.

To be successful in this role you will also:

  • Previous administration or reception experience
  • Maintain an exceptionally high level of confidentiality
  • Enthusiastic and friendly with a good work ethic
  • Have a friendly manner alongside outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of the health sector is desired but not essential
