The School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater seeks a Director of Dual Enrollment (Outreach Program Director (OE021).

Job Details:

The Director of Dual Enrollment Programs provides strategic leadership and oversight of dual enrollment initiatives at UW-Whitewater. This position is responsible for increasing K12 awareness and understanding of university dual enrollment opportunities through in-person and virtual engagement outreach to school districts and development of partnerships that expand student access to early college experiences. The Director will also manage grant-funded programs advisory committees and scholarships that support student success in dual enrollment pathways. This position will supervise the dual enrollment team including K12 Engagement Manager Student Success Coordinator and Family & District Support Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Program Alignment and Partnerships

  • Partner with K12 leaders to align dual enrollment withCareer and Technical Education (CTE)andAcademic and Career Planning (ACP)initiatives

  • Guide integration of university courses into high school programs including participation inEarly College Credit Program (ECCP).

  • Develop collaborations with school districts internal stakeholders and external agencies

  • Coordinate all post-secondary dual transfer courses in alignment with UWWs Associates Degree

Grant and Scholarship Management

  • Explore and apply for state and federal funding to support dual enrollment programming ensure compliance and effectiveness for awarded grants

  • Coordinate with foundation partners on scholarships for dual enrollment students

Advisory Committees and Stakeholder Engagement

  • CoordinateDual Enrollment Advisory Committeesto ensure diverse input and stakeholder alignment

  • Build strong partnerships across university departments schools and community organizations

Compliance Policy and Assessment

  • Monitor state and local dual enrollment policies and ensure program compliance

  • Collect and analyze program data for assessment reporting and continuous improvement

  • Align program practices with both higher education and K12 requirements

K12 Outreach and Awareness

  • Expand awareness of dual enrollment opportunities through in-person and virtual outreach

  • Deliver presentations workshops and digital communications to students families and schools

  • Provide training and resources for counselors teachers and families on enrollment processes and policies

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs the organizational strategic goals of the programs and unit
  • Serves as liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups providing organizational information and representing interest of the unit
  • Directs the development of long range and short term strategic plans and initiatives to further the growth of the outreach program
  • Exercises supervisory authority including hiring transferring suspending promoting managing conduct and performance discharging assigning rewarding disciplining and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
  • Directs unit personnel and budgeted activities
  • Develops and monitors the budget

Compensation:

Well-qualified candidates can expect a minimum starting annual salary within a range of $80000- $90000.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in education educational administration or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience as aCTE Coordinatoror closely related K12/higher education role

  • Demonstrated knowledge ofWisconsin dual enrollment policies including the Early College Credit Program (ECCP)

  • Successful track record ofgrant writing and grant management preferably with federally or state-funded programs

  • Familiarity withCareer and Technical Education (CTE)frameworks andAcademic and Career Planning (ACP)initiatives in the K12 setting

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both in-person and virtual engagement.

  • Strong organizational program management and data-driven decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder advisory committees and collaborating with community partners or foundations

  • Prior leadership in developing universityK12 partnerships that improved student outcomes

  • Background in student services academic advising or college readiness program development

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to interact respectfully with people with diverse socioeconomic cultural and ethnic background

  • Willingness and ability to be an active participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations including necessary training and drills
