Summary:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager this person will be responsible for conducting general maintenance troubleshooting and repairing of manufacturing equipment.
Essential Duties:
Perform preventive predictive maintenance and total productive maintenance in accordance with standardized procedures.
Be able to interact with operators supervisors and co-workers in a team-oriented fashion towards a common goal.
Able to research on the Internet for manuals and instructions from component manufacturers.
Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns using instruments blueprints manuals manufacturer specifications machine diagnosis and control parameters.
Keep records of faults and alarms by date machine number in computer database.
Propose and implement improvements to existing products processes and procedures.
Assist Manufacturing Engineer in NPI (New Product Introduction) and process improvement.
Provide production floor support as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Education
Preferred- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Be able to read write and speak English fluently
Experience
Two years minimum manufacturing experience.
Ability to perform basic math including use of calculators.
Skills & Abilities
Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
Experience wiring electrical panels instrumentation and devices and point-to-point testing.
Ability to work from detailed schematics wire lists bill of materials engineering drawings and
documentation.
Must be familiar with LOTO (Lock out Tag Out)
Strong interest in and experience with mechanical systems.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
