Job Summary

The Vice President Health Distribution Strategy is a leadership role responsible for translating the vision of our Health Brokerage organization into actionable strategies and initiatives that drive growth improve operational efficiency and ensure alignment across business functions.



This role plays a critical part in leading and supporting initiatives that span both the centralized Health business and our broader Affiliate population. It ensures strategic consistency while also recognizing and navigating the unique needs of individual Affiliates. The VP acts as a connector across teams and business units identifying interdependencies managing execution and enabling alignment on key enterprise and affiliate priorities.



Reporting to the SVP Health Distribution Operations this position also serves as a key representative of leadership maintaining a high level of professionalism discretion and strategic insight.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Health leadership Affiliates and enterprise stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support growth operational excellence and expense management
  • Support execution of cross-functional efforts that originate within the Health business as well as those that impact or are driven by the Affiliate network
  • Drive alignment across multiple business functions including HR IT Marketing Compliance Legal Data Finance and Field Operations to support seamless execution of shared strategic priorities
  • Facilitate collaboration between field leaders Affiliate teams and enterprise departments proactively identifying dependencies and removing obstacles to execution
  • Serve as a key conduit between Affiliates and enterprise resources to ensure initiatives are coordinated communicated and aligned with overarching goals
  • Lead and support the development of strategic roadmaps and operational improvement plans across key business areas
  • Monitor progress flag risks and report outcomes to senior leadership with a focus on measurable impact
  • Provide research and insights to inform leadership decision-making including assessing trends and implications across both centralized Health and distributed Affiliate environments
  • Mentor junior staff and promote a collaborative outcomes-focused culture
  • May or may not have direct reports depending on organizational structure
  • Other duties as assigned by Distribution leaders

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Operations Strategy or a related field; Masters or MBA preferred
  • 7 years of experience in business strategy operations or consulting preferably within health insurance brokerage or a similarly complex environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives across enterprise and distributed teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and build alignment across business units
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong cross-functional project management skills with the ability to align enterprise Health and Affiliate-driven efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to work across diverse functional areas including HR IT Marketing Compliance Legal Data and Finance
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal with the ability to simplify complexity and engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust and collaboration across teams and leadership levels
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced evolving environments with shifting priorities
  • Strategic thinker with an operational mindset and bias for action
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Familiarity with Tableau and Jira is a plus
