The St. James Performance Academy is seeking a Head Softball Coach to lead our elite Academy softball team. This role is responsible for the overall development training and competitive success of high-performance athletes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the Academy softball program including year-round training and competitive schedules.
Develop individualized athlete development plans including technical tactical physical and mental preparation.
Facilitate college recruiting and advancement through strong national softball network connections.
Recruit hire and mentor coaching staff to ensure consistent training standards.
Represent The St. James professionally within the softball community.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required
5 years coaching/program leadership experience (3 at Head or senior level).
Proven track record of athlete development and college-level placements.
Advanced knowledge of softball techniques systems and competitive pathways.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work evenings weekends and travel as needed.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand walk and demonstrate softball skills for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry training equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Participate in drills conditioning and on-field demonstrations.

Background Requirements

Must successfully complete a background check.
Valid USA Softball or other relevant coaching certifications preferred.
