Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying assessing and managing potential risks that could impact the companys operations. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the company
- Monitor and analyze market trends industry developments and regulatory changes to identify potential risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management plans and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain risk management reports and dashboards for senior management
- Provide training and support to employees on risk management best practices
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve the companys risk management processes
- Assist in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans
- Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for prevention of future incidents
- Communicate with external stakeholders including clients vendors and regulatory agencies on risk management matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Risk Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management preferably in the energy industry
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and techniques
- Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk management plans
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and risk management software
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events
