Title: Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid - minimum 2 days onsite)

As a Corporate Tax Manager youll join a nationally recognized advisory team contributing to business tax planning compliance and ASC 740 tax accounting initiatives. This position offers a blend of autonomy and team collaboration allowing you to lead key engagements while mentoring junior staff. Youll work on high-impact tax strategy and compliance projects for complex multi-entity clients ranging from planning and review to audit support while staying at the forefront of regulatory developments.
What Youll Do:
- Lead end-to-end client tax engagements ensuring delivery within budget and timelines.
- Supervise and mentor tax associates senior associates and interns; provide performance feedback and coaching.
- Conduct technical reviews of corporate tax returns and ASC 740 provisions.
- Identify tax-saving strategies and upsell opportunities to current clients.
- Engage with federal state and local tax authorities to resolve client inquiries.
- Maintain productive long-term client relationships through strategic insight and service excellence.
- Collaborate with internal technical specialists to support comprehensive client solutions.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws technology and best practices through regular training.
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
- Active CPA license (GA or eligible for reciprocity) or JD/active law license required.
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and/or consulting.
- Experience with ASC 740 income tax accounting (provision prep review or audit support).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP corporate tax laws and multi-state tax issues.
- Proficiency in tax software; experience with OneSource Tax Provision is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in a top 15 public accounting or advisory firm preferred.
- Experience serving large multi-state or multinational companies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; client service-oriented.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ideally no job hopping every 1-2 years for the last 10 years.
