McCormick & Company Incorporated is seeking a full-time Product Development Intern in Hunt Valley located at 24 Schilling Rd. This is a 10-week internship (June 2026 - August 2026) which requires 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

JOB TITLE: Flavor Solution Beverage Lab Intern - Paid

DEPARTMENT: Flavor Application and Creation

LOCATION: 204 Wight Ave. Hunt Valley MD 21031

START DATE: May 2026 (flexible)

HOURS: Full-time 12-week Program (flexible)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate college Junior student in a relevant academic program.
• Relevant Academic programs include Food Science Chemistry Culinary Science Nutrition Science or other science.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint required
• Experience working in a laboratory or kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to perform data analysis preferred as well as basic beverage formulation and scale-up calculations preferred.
• Prior exposure to and/or familiarity with food science concepts preferred.
• Ability to work independently learn new tasks solve problems and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
• Demonstrated organization and planning skills handling details.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment is required.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

• Assist with daily flavor customer support activities including sample preparation sample evaluation/tasting data gathering and sending out shipments.
• Work directly with internal beverage and/or food technical team providing hands-on assistance and project guidance.
• Collaborate with other scientists and technologists to deliver ad hoc project results in a timely manner.
• Projects might include flavor application prototype formulation base improvement bench testing and competitive benchmarking.
• Maintain a clean safe and orderly lab including cleaning equipment organizing supplies and following all safety protocols.
