Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Pharmacistfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.

Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare verify and dispense prescribed medications.
Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage potential drug interactions and proper usage.
Provide drug information and guidance to healthcare professionals and patients.
Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations including IV admixtures following USP guidelines.
Participate in quality assurance and medication safety programs.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws regulations and institutional policies.
Maintain complete and accurate patient medication profiles in the EMR system.
Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications:
Education:

Required: Bachelors degree or higher in Pharmacy.

Experience:

Required: Minimum 1 year of pharmacist Inpatient experience is required.
Preferred: Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems sterile processing IV room operations and EMR systems.

Certifications & Licensure:

Required: Valid Pharmacist License issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Primary source verification required.
