DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Budget Analyst 2 is responsible for activities related to the administration and implementation of the Virtual Allocation Multiyear Growth Strategy. This includes budget analysis service utilization review and preparation of capacity adjustment requests to support long-term planning and ensure alignment with state funding requirements. You can expect to utilize available budget management tools and key financial data to conduct analyses of program budgets and identify trends. Work involves analyzing service utilization data to determine if level of utilization meets standards set by the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and collecting organizing and analyzing data to support quarterly capacity adjustment requests. You will have the opportunity to perform duties related to Housing Initiative and Incident Management. Our team will rely on you to perform key administrative functions that support compliance with quality standards and service timeliness as outlined in the state and county operating agreement. These responsibilities are directly tied to the states allocation of administrative funding to the ID/A program at the county level.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Budget Analyst I; or
Two years of experience in technical budget administration work and a bachelors degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:
You must pass a background investigation.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
o Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
