Full-service sanitation employee that specializes in performing sanitation contract services at large food plants. Responsibilities would include cleaning production lines silos shipping and other areas of the facility including but not limited to manufacturing equipment machinery offices canteen and bathrooms. Basic Qualifications:

Currently we are taking applications for a Sanitation Workerposition in Flowers Bread Baking Facility.

Our client is the leading producer of breads buns rolls snack cakes and pastries which are distributed fresh to foodservice and retail customers in the Southeast Mid-Atlantic and Southwest as well as select markets in California and Nevada.

Duties:

Sweep and mop floors
Trash Removal
Dusting
Vacuuming
Window Cleaning
General Cleaning and other duties as directed by Supervisor
Ensure that all machinery and areas are cleaned in an efficient manner in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

Prior food plant sanitation or related experience a plus preferably in the Bakery industry.
High School Diploma or GED
Must be flexible with shifts and days off. Must be available on weekends/nights as your schedule requires.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Ability to follow instructions and comprehend safety procedures.
Must be able to follow all facility policies.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. overhead.
Must be able to bend twist stoop and kneel.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to distinguish colors and smells.
Must be able to distinguish audible alarms.
Must be capable of rapid movement to all areas of the plant.
Must be able to climb stairs and fixed and portable ladders.
Ability to crawl under and climb onto machinery and equipment.
Must have verifiable attendance record.
