Production Trainer
Mississauga Ontario
Responsibilities
Deliver effective functional and hands-on training for new and existing employees in production and assembly operations.
Identify training needs by assessing employee performance strengths and development areas.
Serve as a backup for Supervisors on assembly lines when required.
Act as a floater on the assembly line to support operational needs.
Analyze service complaint trends identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain a safe and healthy training environment by adhering to all safety quality and ESD standards.
Collaborate closely with the Training Coordinator and department leaders to align training priorities.
Provide regular feedback and progress updates on employee training outcomes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality performance.

More About You
Elementary or secondary education required.
Previous work experience in hearing aid manufacturing.
Experience as a trainer preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; 5S certification a plus.
Strong communication skills and cultural awareness.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Skilled at knowledge transfer and creating training reports.
Creative thinker with excellent computer skills and SAP knowledge.
Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to produce detailed training documentation
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
