On Demand Counseling is Ohios top provider of medication assisted treatment services (MAT) for those working toward recovery from opioid or alcohol misuse. We offer a variety of services including one-on-one counseling telehealth group therapy and supportive services. Our team is passionate about addiction treatment and supporting patients through their journey to recovery.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part-time basis. As a Medical Assistant at On Demand Immediate Care you will play a crucial role in supporting our medical professionals and ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the medical visit.
- Assist with patient intake including recording vital signs medical history and reason for the visit.
- Communicate effectively with patients providing clear instructions and addressing inquiries.
Clinical Support:
- Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Administer injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood draws and specimen collection.
Administrative Tasks:
- Obtain records and all information needed before patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Schedule appointments answer phones and assist with front desk duties as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and streamline clinic operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements:

Front desk experience.
Great customer care skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule including occasional Saturdays.
