Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Senior Prospect Researcher to join the operations team in Te Kura Tangata - Development and Alumni Relations Office on a 13-month fixed-term full-time contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide timely considered and informative research on prospective donors for Te Kura Tangata - Development and Alumni Relations Office.
- Develop proactive strategies to identify and build a pool of potential major gift prospective donors.
- Analyse and present research findings via written reports lists tables or visual reports.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director Fundraising on portfolio management and moves management processes.
Undertake due diligence research and ensure compliance with due diligence and gift acceptance policies.

You will be a motivated detail-oriented individual who can take the initiative work collaboratively and think strategically.
Key requirements:
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written communication with the ability to produce high-quality content.
- Strong data and systems proficiency.
Familiarity with emerging AI research technologies with a willingness to innovate.
Youll work onsite (with one day a week work-from-home flexibility) joining our supportive friendly and professional team.
