We are seeking an experienced caring proactive and highly organised Pastoral Support Lead to join our dedicated team at Broke Hall CP School.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children and families.
You will work closely with staff pupils and parents to promote excellent attendance safeguard pupils wellbeing and support children facing social emotional or welfare challenges. You will play a key role in helping every child feel safe supported and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities
monitor attendance and punctuality identifying and addressing concerns early
work with families to remove barriers to learning and promote positive engagement
support the Designated Safeguarding Lead with safeguarding and child protection duties
provide individual and small-group support to pupils with social emotional or behavioural needs
work closely with the SENCo and provide admin support
liaise with external agencies to ensure coordinated support for children and families
maintain accurate records and report on pupil welfare and attendance as required.
You will:
have experience working with children and families in an educational or social care setting
understand safeguarding and child protection procedures
be able to build strong trusting relationships with children parents and colleagues
be compassionate approachable and able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
be well organised and able to manage a varied workload.
