Head of AI

We are looking for a visionary AI leader who can build and scale an AI Center of Excellence from foundational roles to enterprise-ready capabilities. As the new Head of AI CoE at Orifarm you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution fostering innovation and AI governance across our global organization.

About the job

As Head of AI CoE you will be responsible for shaping and scaling Orifarms AI capabilities across business units and geographies.

Your key responsibilities would be:

• Establish and evolve the AI Center of Excellence progressively developing roles from AI Business Analysts and AI Architects to ML Engineers and Data Scientists by 2027.
• Drive AI governance including policies for responsible AI use Copilot adoption and secure internal data handling.
• Foster innovation and collaboration across departments balancing structured IT oversight with local experimentation to build competencies and share best practices.
• Identify and execute business cases for AI initiatives ensuring alignment with Orifarms strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with international teams to implement AI solutions that create measurable business impact.
• Leading and driving a passionate AI forum a with AI ambassadors from the business

You will report directly to the CIO of Orifarm. This role is playing a pivotal part in shaping Orifarms digital transformation and long-term technology vision.

You are a visionary AI professional with strong leadership skills capable of building high-performing teams and driving AI initiatives across a global organization. You combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and excellent stakeholder management.

Key qualifications include:

• Deep understanding of artificial intelligence machine learning and enterprise technology strategy.
• Track record of building and scaling AI teams and driving digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience in healthcare pharmaceuticals or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Ability to identify business cases for AI initiatives and align them with organizational goals.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration across teams.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment. Danish proficiency is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to balance innovation and governance while promoting knowledge sharing across departments.
