TheStrategic Integrated Operational Planning and Assurance (SIOPA) team provides mid-to-long-term planning capability primarily focusing on strategic and tactical business objectives. Within this team the Strategic Integrated Planning function facilitates integrated planning across SEQ and Regional operations regularly publishing capacity reports and coordinating capacity planning initiatives. This team plays a critical role in ensuring Queensland Rails future service delivery aligns with strategic objectives and infrastructure developments. The work done by this team directly influences key business decisions related to Customers Workforce Infrastructure and Rollingstock.
Your opportunity
As thePrincipal Integrated Operations Modeller (AS7) you will lead simulation modelling for SIOPA to develop and maintain capacity plans ensuring alignment with Queensland Rails long-term objectives major projects and government transport policies.
This is a front-facing role requiring the ability to confidently present modelling outcomes to senior leadership influencing operational and strategic decisions. The Principal Modeller will also provide mentoring and coaching to the Senior Modeller and other team members to support their capability growth and foster a collaborative high-performing environment.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $151359 plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
