Description

Work Schedule:

15% FTE part-time position day shift. You will coordinate schedules with other student help workers so there is a student in the microbiology lab 2-3 hours per day Monday Friday. Weekends are split between students so there is a student each weekend from 9:00AM 3:00PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Student Help Microbiology to:

Support the lab by making reagents stocking supplies aliquoting reagents filing and xeroxing while using proper laboratory techniques.
Provide assistance to the team by compiling data for quality monitors and entering data into spreadsheets.
Interact communicate and assist with Clinical Lab staff as needed.

Qualifications

Current student in a post secondary college or university Required
Field of study related to department Preferred

Work Experience

General customer service/ administrative experience or experience in field of study Required
