Job Description:
We are now looking for a skilled Lead Development Engineer within R&D Product Development to join our client in Landskrona.
The unit holds global responsibility for the development and manufacturing of advancedcooling systems used inpower electronics applications and other high-reliability systems. Theircooling solutions ensure dependable operation in critical power transmissionsystems supporting the global transition toward sustainable and efficientenergy infrastructure.
As a Lead Engineer focusingon systemfunctionality process and automation you will coordinate cooling system solutions within the productdevelopment segment. This is a technical leadership role with broad responsibility across electrical automation and systemdesign and close collaboration with mechanical engineering and systemcalculation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical expert in functionaldesign process engineering and automation.
- Lead and coordinate R&D development work within assigned projects under aproject managers guidance.
- Engage with customers to understand specifications and transform requirementsinto technical solutions and design concepts.
- Take ownership of technical solutions in specific parts or complete projects depending on scope andcomplexity.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated high-quality designresults.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support to colleagues within theR&D team.
- Develop and maintain marketing and decision support documentssuch as concepts costestimates and design proposals.
- Contribute to long-term technology development andstandardization efforts within cooling Tasks
- Electrical and automation design includingcabinet layout component selection and PLC/DCS programming.
- Process and functional design documentation BOM creationand supplier specifications.
- Participation in prototype and component testing FAT DFMA and integration testing with customers.
- Create andmaintain technical documentation: test protocolstechnical reports manuals and quality records.
- Support commissioning and site acceptance tests (SAT) at customer facilities when needed.
- Collaborate with suppliers and evaluate new technologies to strengthen futuresystem performance.
Requirements:
- Around 10 years of experience in product development within industrial automation or electrical design ideally in customer-specific projects.
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering AutomationMechatronics or similar.
- Previous experience as team lead lead project engineer or projectmanager.
- Solid understanding of CE certification 2006/42/EC IEC61439 andIEC61000 standards.
- Skilled in PLC/DCS/RTU/IPC/HMI programming and system integration.
- Experience with automation cabinets low-voltage switchgearand control system equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and technical English both written and spoken.
Meritorious: knowledge of UL/CSA certification EMC testing VFDs UPSsystems or voltage stabilisers.
