Job Summary

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Mechatronics)

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Location: Navlakh Umbre Taluka Maval Pune 410507

Reports To: Plant Head

Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring uptime and optimal performance of all machinery including CNC VMC

machines automation equipment and robotics. The role requires expertise in preventive and

breakdown maintenance robot programming/teaching and CNC programming to support

production targets and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Maintenance

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant equipment including CNC

machines VMC conventional machines utilities and special-purpose machinery.

Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities breakdowns and corrective actions

taken.

CNC VMC Programming & Support

Develop modify and optimize CNC VMC programs as per production and quality

requirements.

Provide hands-on support during new product trials and machine setups.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot CNC programming issues.

Equipment Reliability & Continuous Improvement

Implement predictive maintenance techniques to enhance equipment reliability.

Recommend and execute improvement projects to enhance machine performance safety

and efficiency.

Maintain inventory of critical spares tools and consumables.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and statutory

regulations.

Lead root cause analysis for recurring breakdowns and implement preventive actions.

Desired Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and automation systems.
Experience in robot programming/teaching (OTC or similar).
Proficient in CNC VMC programming.
Troubleshooting expertise for CNC VMC and general machinery.
Familiarity with PLC basics and industrial control systems is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
Diploma/B.E./ in Mechanical Mechatronics Electrical or related field.
2to5yearsofexperience in machine maintenance with exposure to CNC VMC SPM and
robotics preferred.
Hands-on experience with robot teaching and programming and CNC/ VMC programming is preferable.
Exposure to preventive maintenance systems and TPM practices desirable
