About the KS2 Teacher role
This KS2 Teacher will be responsible for delivering ambitious curriculum sequences in reading writing and maths and for teaching foundation subjects with a clear focus on knowledge acquisition. The KS2 Teacher will design lessons that build long-term memory and retrieval practice run targeted interventions and participate in moderation. From planning tasks before January 2026 to leadership conversations after January 2026 the KS2 Teacher will be central to phase improvement.
A week in the life of the KS2 Teacher
Mornings: the KS2 Teacher leads high-quality English and maths lessons that weave in vocabulary and reasoning. Afternoons: the KS2 Teacher runs project-based foundation subject work and small-group support. The KS2 Teacher will be expected to attend parents evenings lead pupil progress meetings and contribute to CPD from January 2026.
