Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 2 Teacher will deliver systematic phonics guided reading and well-sequenced writing and maths units. The Year 2 Teacher will track progress run targeted interventions and lead parental updates and workshop sessions. The Year 2 Teacher will coordinate transition activities to Year 3 and will be part of moderation meetings preceding January 2026and following January 2026.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
QTS and recent KS1 experience required of the Year 2 Teacher.
Strong phonics practice effective behaviour strategies and clear communication for the Year 2 Teacher.
Available to prepare prior to January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher.
