Position Description
As Junior Finance Analyst you will be part of the Finance team dealing with day-to-day activities in controlling and finance.
In this role you will:
- Build and manage financial models to track and report projects and products costs on a monthly basis
- Calculate customer and product success (product and project margin margin per customer) both past and forecasted
- Investigate unprofitable variances and losses
- Evaluate pricing models and levels and propose changes to strategy department
- Establish business planning for new products or relevant business/transformation initiatives to define and monitor profitability impact for the company
- Participate in the forecast and 5-year plan process suggesting adjustments based on projects/products profitability levels
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business administration or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role preferably in comparable software industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including creating complex financial models and utilizing advanced formulas
- Knowledge of accounting principles financial analysis budgeting and cost control
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and results-driven mindset combined with a high level of reliability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
- Oriented to details with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) is a plus
- Proficiency in English language and knowledge of German language is a plus
