Job Title : Senior IT Project Manager (Government PMP Agile COTS/SDLC 7 Years)
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and leading multiple large-scale complex IT projects for U.S. Government agencies serving as the project manager. Projects included budgets exceeding $500000 durations of 12 months multiple funding sources (Federal and grant) vendor and stakeholder management multi-tiered project teams and deployments across geographically dispersed locations.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive project management plans including Charter Scope Schedule Cost Quality Communication Change Risk Issue and Resource Management Plans overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closeout.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project monitoring progress and variances against baselines under Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies; conducting scrum sessions and providing schedule/status reports to both IT Services and client leadership.
- Experienced in preparing and managing detailed Scope Documents reviewing project deliverables overseeing the deliverable acceptance process and controlling scope changes through established change management procedures.
- Strong background in quality management including quality planning quality assurance system testing quality control user acceptance testing (UAT) defect tracking metrics analysis and governance.
- Hands-on experience managing COTS software implementation and custom in-house application development projects (SDLC).
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) .
