Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop create and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
May analyze and design databases within an application area working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Evaluates code for performance and contributes to improving the overall efficiency of applications
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements write code and troubleshoot issues.
Creates and maintains documentation for code processes and test plans.
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
Assignments may be broad in nature requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Requirements

Primary Skills:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
IDEAL Candidate has an understanding and experience with Natural and Adabas.
Knowledge and experience with IBM Mainframe z/OS.
Possess a deep understanding of programming languages such as Natural frameworks and Adabas database systems.
Proficiency and experience with XML and Java.
