Job Summary
As Sensor Analysis Manager you will play a critical role in providing technical support to the Armys Integrated Air and Missile Defense mission. You will lead a team of analysts responsible for evaluating Radar/Guidance system performance data from Live Firings Ground Tests Simulation Exercises and Real-World Events and producing system assessments. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail who enjoys a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Additionally this position requires effective collaboration and communication skills. This job is seeking a motivated individual with leadership skills who can proactively identify and solve complex technical and business challenges. Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the radar(s) including requirements and operations focusing on radar search track electronic counter measures discrimination and missile guidance functions
- Define metrics analyze data and assess system performance
- Provide direct support to the Warfighter by responding to Requests for Information including analyzing Real-World data and collaborating with the team to provide recommendations for enhanced performance
- Support test events (Live Firings Ground Tests Simulation Exercises) by defining requirements and objectives observing/executing tests analyzing test data and contributing to test reports
- Prepare and present briefings to various audiences including USG Warfighters and high levels of leadership
- Review and track software changes and system requirements
- Provide technical and task guidance to a team of Radar/Guidance analysts
- May participate in the development of technical proposals for new and/or existing business opportunities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering physics or related STEM field
- 7-15 years of experience in Radar or Guidance analysis for a Missile Defense System
- Demonstrable understanding of Radar signal and data processing methods
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
- Candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language (MATLAB C/C Python etc.)
- Demonstrable leadership and management skills
- Advanced degree in engineering physics or related STEM field
- Experience in interface analysis for a major Missile Defense System including Live Firings Ground Tests Simulation Exercises Real-World data
