Activities include identifying potential customers; managing existing customer relationships; monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends; market research; and developing and implementing advertising and publicity Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing campaigns to inform consumers (B2C) of the merits of purchasing its products and services. Activities include creating and/or coordinating the production of advertising and promotional materials; identifying the optimal mix of advertising and promotional media channels that align with defined customer market segmentation and buyer personas (e.g. social media website television publications billboards etc.); coordinating the activities of the companys trade shows promotions and events; planning advertising campaigns (e.g. budget estimates preparing and negotiating advertising contracts etc.); creating and/or coordinating brand promotional merchandise (e.g. mugs bags pens etc.); measuring advertising and promotion effectiveness for individual contributor that provides core/priority administrative or technical support May act as a group leader for less experienced support staff
