About the Opportunity

• Schedule: Part-time position with 2 first or general calls per month and shared pediatric call evenly distributed among the pediatric anesthesia team

• Case Mix: Blend of pediatric and adult anesthesia (no OB)

• Scope: Includes complex pediatric procedures including surgeries in newborns

• Model: 3:1 supervision of AHPs with some solo cases

• Collaborative Practice: 28 anesthesiologists and 50 AHPs

• Future Growth: BayCare has approved construction of a new free-standing Childrens Hospital adjacent to the current facilityexpanding opportunities for advanced pediatric care.

• MD. D.O. or equivalent medical degree
• Current active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Specific fellowship training or equivalent experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia
