Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storeroom Inventory Clerk to manage and support day-to-day inventory operations. This role is vital to ensuring parts and materials are efficiently received stored issued and tracked within the storeroom and throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately stage count classify and add new parts to inventory
Maintain storeroom organization and ensure inventory levels meet company standards
Receive store issue and ship materials and parts across the storeroom and brewery
Monitor and preserve the condition of all stock items
Optimize storeroom layout for accessibility and efficiency
Review records for accuracy and recommend actions for non-usable or excess inventory
Track inventory discrepancies and suggest corrective measures
Provide inventory retrieval and check-out support
Assist maintenance technicians in locating necessary parts
Identify reorder needs and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and item photos
Utilize system for inventory tracking and cycle counting
Implement inventory process improvements (e.g. barcoding labeling visual factory concepts)
Collaborate with maintenance planners to kit parts for work orders and overhauls
Support capital and productivity projects through part descriptions and updates
Required Experience & Skills:
13 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (high-speed manufacturing preferred)
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts/tools
Excellent attention to detail organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word); ability to learn internal systems (e.g. AMMS)
Proven ability to work independently and within a team
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
Flexible schedule including occasional early mornings evenings or weekends
