Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dialysis Technician/Administrative Assistant to join our team full-time. This dual-role position is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of dialysis treatments while also supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate dialysis machines for patient treatments ensuring all protocols and safety standards are adhered to.
- Monitor patients during dialysis sessions recording vital signs and reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with scheduling appointments managing patient flow and coordinating with medical staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of dialysis equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support administrative tasks including data entry filing and managing correspondence.
- Facilitate communication between patients families and healthcare providers to enhance patient care experience.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Dialysis Technician is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting particularly in dialysis is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and office software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
