At PwC our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding offboarding payroll and benefits administration absence management employee record-keeping compliance with labour laws and regulations and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.Focused on relationships you are building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations you are growing your personal brand deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients and to deliver quality. The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the People Operations team youmanage employee relations and policies to enhance the employee experience. As a Senior Associate youanalyze complex employee relations matters mentor junior team members and uphold professional standards while navigating the intricacies of workplace dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations issues and providing guidance
- Collaborate with teams to develop HR policies and procedures
- Analyze employee feedback to inform policy changes
- Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts
- Mentor junior HR staff on recommended practices in employee relations
- Engage with employees to understand their concerns
- Confirm compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Develop training programs on HR policies
What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- 5 years of experience in employee relations
- Specialized training in labor/employee relations
- Understanding of employment and labor laws in India
- Proven ability to handle confidential information
- Significant attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage elevated-pressure environments effectively
