- Clinical leadership: supervise train and support dental assistants reinforce clinical protocols and practice standards
- Infection control & compliance: Oversee sterilisation procedures equipment maintenance and IC documentation in line with national guidelines and practice policy
- Clinical support: provide chairside assistance to our dentist as required
- Training & onboarding: Coordinate onboarding and competency assessments for new clinical staff
- Liaison role: Act as the key link between the clinical team reception and management to streamline communication and resolve issues quickly
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Dental Assistant and 1 year in a senior / coordination role (preferred)
- Certificate III or IV Dental Assisting (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation standards (AS/NZS 4815 or 4187)
- Proven organisational and team leadership skills with a collaborative approach
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Familiarity in the Oasis practice management software (advantageous)
