We have immediate openings for Electronics Assemblers/Technicians with mechanical skills to build and repair components of instrumentation systems. This is a full-time position. As a technician at Mesotech you will receive training in electro-mechanical assembly system integration and troubleshooting. You will gain experience in production/manufacturing troubleshooting testing and quality assurance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Read and understand assembly drawings bills of materials and assembly instructions
- Build repair and test meteorological instrumentation systems and components
- Use hand tools to assemble electronics enclosures including cable assemblies circuit boards etc.
- Perform circuit board testing and re-work
- Other electronic/electrical and mechanical assembly work involved in the production and repair of meteorological measurement systems
Qualifications :
Minimum qualifications:
- Basic electronics education or equivalent experience in a production environment
- Able to read and comprehend assembly instructions diagrams and drawings
- Competent with hand tools and electronic assembly tools (screwdrivers wire strippers soldering irons etc.)
- Able to pass thorough background check by US Department of Defense
- This position requires access to ITAR restricted information (must be a US Person).
Preferred:
- AS in Mechatronics or related field
