Your mission

Were looking for a next-generationHead of Business Development (Vienna or Dublin) a hands-on tech-savvy leader to scale the BD team drive AI-led innovation and optimise top-of-funnel through modern tools and scalable programmes.


Your main tasks will be:

  • Build lead and coach a BDR team across Vienna and Dublin scaling the team with a focus on performance learning and motivation while acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on player-coach.

  • Design and manage ABM vertical-focused and event-based outbound campaigns in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

  • Implement structured prospecting lead qualification and account-targeting processes while supporting cross-functional initiatives such as US market entry.

  • Evaluate implement and manage AI tools such as Gong ChatGPT and LinkedIn AI and develop AI-assisted outbound strategies optimised for conversations.

  • Coach the team on AI workflows including prompting automation and personalisation and partner with Marketing to integrate AI into lead scoring and ABM campaigns.

  • Own the top-of-funnel pipeline strategy execution and reporting build dashboards track KPIs and ensure alignment with Sales and Marketing on ICP messaging and conversion.

  • Deliver a scalable outbound engine a motivated AI-enabled team and measurable efficient programmes that consistently generate qualified pipeline.

Your profile

Must-haves:

  • 35 years in BD/SDR leadership within B2B SaaS achieving substantial pipeline growth (e.g. 5x) by improving team efficiency and processes rather than simply expanding headcount.

  • Proven success building or optimising outbound programmes and tech stacks.

  • Strong command of modern sales engagement platforms (HubSpot Salesforce Gong Outreach LinkedIn etc.).

  • Passion for AI automation and productivity tools with an early adopter mindset.

  • Hands-on energetic leader who loves coaching and iterating quickly.

  • Comfortable operating between strategy and execution can think like a Head of BD but also act like a Programme Manager.

  • Excellent analytical organisational and communication skills.

  • Fluent English skills both written and spoken are required.

  • Must be eligible to work in Austria or Ireland (no sponsorship options available).

  • Based in or within commuting distance from Dublin or Vienna.



Bonus points for:

  • Experience and knowledge in supply chain monitoring ESG sustainability or risk managementareas core to Prewaves business.

  • Additional language skills e.g. French Spanish Dutch etc.

CompetitiveCompensationandBenefits: The minimum gross monthly salary according to the IT collective agreement is EUR 4485. As this is a sales position the actual compensation package will include a competitive base salary determined by your qualifications and experience and a performance-based bonus.
