Job Description
Our vision is to assist businesses in advancing their digital transformation and achieving their business line with the introduction of SAPs innovative Business Suite strategy we are seeking a dedicated Cloud Sales Executive (m/f/d) for the public sector capable of successfully implementing this strategic initiative in the Austrian market.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
As an Industry Account Executive your primary mission will be to drive business growth by prospecting qualifying selling and closing new business opportunities related to SAP Cloud solutions in existing customer accounts. You will bring your expertise and a strategic approach to customer engagements leveraging SAPs resources to solve customer problems effectively:

  • Take charge of sales for SAP Cloud solutions particularly within the framework of the RISE strategy.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies to promote RISE.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and consultation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand customer-specific requirements and offer solutions.
  • Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the companys growth strategy.

Account and Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage and nurture account relationships aiming to consistently exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute account plans tailored to each customers unique needs ensuring sustainable growth and long-term success.
  • Become a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their requirements and providing value through SAP solutions and expertise.
  • Gain deep insights into each customers technology landscape growth plans and competitive environment to deliver informed solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans that address customer priorities and pain points utilizing value engineering benchmarking and return-on-investment (ROI) data.

Roadmap to Success

  • Build a customer-centric strategy and own commercial relationship.
  • Lead dedicated sales efforts that are aligned with the customer strategy and product roadmap.
  • Secure path to future success by moving and expanding to the cloud and realizing customer lifetime value.

Demand Generation Pipeline and Opportunity Management

  • Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date sales pipeline adhering to a disciplined approach.
  • Collaborate with marketing business development and partners to generate and nurture leads within your territory.
  • Leverage the full range of SAP cloud offerings including Industry Solutions line-of-business (LOB) solutions and technology solutions to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Successfully advance and close sales opportunities by executing the sales strategy effectively.

Sales Excellence

  • Focus on selling the value of SAP Business Suite to customers.
  • Execute up-sell and cross-sell initiatives on the customer base.
  • Orchestrate the deployment of the appropriate teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Utilize best practice sales models and position SAP solutions effectively against competitors.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information within the CRM system.

Leading a (Virtual) Account Team:
Demonstrate leadership skills in coordinating remote teams to achieve shared goals. Ensure account teams and partners are aligned with each accounts strategy and positioned effectively for customer interactions and events.
Maximize the value of all sales support organizations.

Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex business software and IT solutions sales.
  • Proven track record of success in Business Application software sales.
  • Prior knowledge of the Austrian public sector/healthcare sector is considered an asset.
  • Experience leading teams in a collaborative selling environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced consultative competitive market.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in renewals expansions and up-sells of subscription-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken) are a must.
